I grew up in a supportive single parent family, in Suffolk villages before we moved to the town. I've been inspired by a number of people over the years and can't thank the likes of Kate Veysey, Stuart Mullins and Diana Walton enough. And, genuinely, my mum Angie who has always shows us how hard work pays off even when you're the underdog, not to take everything too seriously, and that working multiple jobs at a time whilst looking after family is very possible. This spirit and support of everyone I've known has been crucial.

In 2006 I was honoured to be the Bury St Edmunds Young Citizen of the Year, and be a national finalist in the Dept.BEIS Enterprising Young Brits Awards 2010 with a reception in Whitehall.
